BAILIFFS
The Bailiff of the Ancient Court Leet and Court Baron of the Manor of Bromsgrove is the head of the Court and presides over all proceedings at the Great Autumn Court and the Spring Court. The Bailiff leads the procession on Fair Day held each year on the closest Saturday to mid-summer's day and reads the Charter of 1199 granted to Bromsgrove by King John. The Court has a record of the names of Bailiffs going back to 1494.
